Indian Army Recruitment Coimbatore Tamil Nadu 2019 Eligibility Criteria 

1. Age Limit:- 

• GD (General Duty) candidates should be between 17 Year 6 moths to 21 Years.
• Clerk, Tradesman, Soldier Technical, NA and SKT candidates age limit should be between 17 years 6 months to 23 years. 

2. Height:- 

• 166 centimeter for the General Duty and Tradesman candidates. 
• 165 centimeter height required for the Soldier Technical and Nursing Assistant candidates. 
• Height For Clerk and SKT is 162 centimeter. 

3. Weight:- 

All category or trades candidates weight should be minimum 50 kg. Their is no relaxation for any candidates, so if your weight is 50, then go for the Bharti Rally. 

4. Chest:-

Chest should be 77 cm without expansion and 82 after expansion. 

5. Education Qualification:- 

• Soldier GD:- Candidates need to pass their 10th class with 45 % marks and 33% marks in each subjects. If candidates pass their 12th class, then their is no need to passing marks. Candidates only pass their 12th class education. 
• Soldier Technical:- Soldier Technical candidates need to pass their 12th class with Physics, Chemistry and Maths with 50% marks in aggregate and 45 % marks in each subjects. 
• Clerk/SKT:- Passed their 12th class education with 60% aggregate marks and also have 50% marks in each subjects. Any stream candidates can apply for clerk or skt post. 
• Tradesman:- Candidates pass their 8th class education.
• Soldier Nursing Assistant:- 12th pass with Physics, Chemistry and Biology Subjects with 50% aggregate marks.

6. Physical Fitness Test:- 

This is the first step of selection process, all candidates goes through this selection round. This test is done for 100 marks and candidates need to qualify for every round. Their are a marking scheme according to the candidates performance. Better performance will give maximum marks to all the candidates. 

(a). 1.6 Km Running:- 

• Group I:- All candidates need to complete their race in 5 minutes 30 seconds. After this candidates will get 60 Marks. 
• Group II:- Complete Runs with in 5 Minutes 31 seconds to 5 Minutes 45 Seconds. All group II candidates will get 48 marks. 

(b). Pull Ups:- 

• 10 pull ups:- 40 marks
• 9 pull ups:-  33 marks
• 8 pull ups:- 27 marks
• 7 pull ups:- 21 marks

(c). Balance:- Candidates need to clear this test. No marking for the balance, only qualify.

(d). 9 Fit Ditch:- Should Qualify.

The candidates will be required to have the physical standards are per the prescribed criteria under the physical standards which are as follows:-

• Height:- Minimum height of 160 cm.
• Weight:- Minimum Weight of 50 kg.
• Chest:- Minimum 77 cm to 82 cm with 5 cm expansion.

2. Medical Test:- 

The medical test will be conducted under the strict supervision of the specialists of the Military Medical Corps based on the medical criteria that are prescribed for the selection of the candidates.
